Top Real Estate Leaders Recognized at LeadingRE Global Symposium

 

ATHENS, GREECE (September 23, 2019) – Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® recognized top-performing members for outstanding achievements and contributions during the network’s Global Symposium, held September 17-19, at the Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens, Greece.

The conference offered top-tier industry professionals affiliated with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) the opportunity to discuss key trends in the international real estate market, such as technology, marketing, big data, consumer engagement, and the health of the luxury market.

This year marks the third time formal awards were presented in the event’s 12-year history. “It’s an honor to celebrate the members who are so vital to our network’s continued success. These companies and individuals lead in their local markets and within our global community, and paying tribute to them is a highlight of our Global Symposium,” said LeadingRE President/CEO Paul Boomsma, who presented the awards along with LeadingRE Chairman of the Board Diane M. Ramirez, Halstead Real Estate (New York, N.Y., U.S.) and LeadingRE Executive Vice President, Global Operations Chris Dietz.

The Global Leadership Award was presented to Michael Mabutol, Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services, Inc. (Manilla, Philippines), in recognition of his generosity of time and commitment in supporting Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s global growth.

Earning the Global Ambassador Award were Manabu Suzuki, International Property Agent (Tokyo, Japan); Francesco Papurello, Stresa Luxury Real Estate (Stresa, Italy); and Ashley McEvers, Willis Allen Real Estate (La Jolla, Calif., U.S.). These individuals were selected based on their active participation in LeadingRE on many levels, their promotion of the network worldwide and their service as role models for other members.

Ginesta Immobilien (Zurich, Switzerland) was presented the Global Referral Production Award for the third year in a row in recognition for sending the most outgoing referrals this year among companies outside of North America.

In recognition of its enthusiastic adoption of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® from the first day of membership, the Rising Star Award was presented to Barfoot & Thompson (Auckland, New Zealand).

CIR REALTY (Calgary, Canada) was recognized with the Luxury Trendsetter Award for leadership in the affluent real estate space and exemplary engagement with Luxury Portfolio International®, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s luxury marketing division.

INS Portugal (Estoril, Portugal) was presented the Referral Service Excellence Award for above-and-beyond service and professionalism in handling a challenging cross-border referral. 

Chas Everitt International Property Group (Johannesburg, South Africa) received the Referral Accelerator Award for its commitment to increasing referral awareness and sending referrals to fellow members.

Pinnacle Real Estate Consulting Services, Inc. (Manilla, Philippines) and Group One Real Estate (Corpus Christi, Texas, U.S.) earned the Long Distance Referral Award for collaborating on the referral that traveled the greatest distance to be transacted – over 13,700 kilometers, or 8,500 miles.

In addition to the awards presentation and educational sessions, the conference offered time for attendees to collaborate on shared opportunities and strengthen relationships with fellow attendees, who came from 26 different countries worldwide.
