This is the eighth year HGTV has aligned with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® and Luxury Portfolio International® exclusively for the promotion, which ended July 17.

The Ultimate House Hunt identified exceptional homes for sale as finalists in eight categories allowed consumers to view photo galleries of the homes and vote for their favorites. With more than one million cast this year, the Ultimate House Hunt is one of HGTV.com’s most popular online contests.

All 92 finalists were represented by LeadingRE and Luxury Portfolio members. Based on the total number of votes received, the Overall Winner, as well as the favorite for Waterfront Homes, was a Hawaiian paradise represented by Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers. This is the fifth consecutive year Hawaii Life has had a category winner in the Ultimate House Hunt and its first year receiving the coveted spot as overall winner.

CHICAGO – (July 2, 2019) – Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) has named Michi Olson as Dean of Resources and Global Connections for its network of 565 independent real estate firms, which extends to more than 70 countries worldwide.

Olson, who most recently served as Vice President of Global Business Development and Relocation for Compass, is a renowned relocation and business development professional who is highly regarded for her experience in corporate relocation, business development, e-commerce and global business offerings. She spent 15 years as an executive with Alain Pinel Realtors, the nation’s seventh largest brokerage according to the 2018 Real Trends 500, prior to the firm’s acquisition by Compass in March of this year.

In her new role, Olson will provide expertise for LeadingRE members on embracing network resources to extend their local reach and leverage global marketing and referral opportunities. Olson will conduct consultative webinars for brokers, managers and agents and will create video courses for the LeadingRE Institute, recently named the top real estate learning platform by Training magazine for 2019.
