Welcome to the "John Mixer Tavern", the oldest house in Ashford, dating (1710) back to before the town was officially established in 1714. Rich in history, with a collection of owners from tavern keepers and doctors to a world champion tennis pro and an opera singer. Serious restoration of this exquisite home began in the 1920's and has evolved since.
