The distinctive villa, has its origins in 1904 when Čeněk Machovský, owner of a machine factory in Prague, commissioned its construction for himself. The residence underwent its latest refurbishment in 2003 under the stewardship of the current owner.
The former Machovský villa boasts spacious living quarters, including a generous living area, a garden, and a swimming pool. Nestled in a tranquil and peaceful zone on a gentle slope, its unparalleled advantage lies in its proximity to Dobrichovice railway station, a mere 5-minute walk, granting access to the heart of Prague within a swift 25-minute train journey.
The living space spans four floors, thoughtfully partitioned into social and private zones. The ground floor houses guest rooms with a bathroom, a kitchen, a lounge, a gym, and utility rooms for laundry and cleaning.
Ascending to the first floor, it unveils an entrance hall, an oversized salon, a formal dining room, a convivial lounge, a generous study, a self-contained kitchen with a pantry, and a more intimate dining space with access to the "breakfast" terrace. An ambient fireplace enhances the comfort of the living space during wintry seasons, while the conservatory or direct access to the garden via a staircase provides respite in warmer periods.
The second floor, reserved for private indulgence, encompasses a master bedroom with access to an additional terrace, children's quarters, lavishly appointed bathrooms, a recreational chamber, and two dressing rooms. Ascending from this private enclave, a refined staircase leads to the attic—a versatile space ideal for a study, reading room, or an intimate venue for appreciating music or cinematic experiences.
The garden surrounding the villa serves both active relaxation, with an outdoor heated pool, and tranquil moments under the shade of mature trees.
Dobřichovice, only 15 km from Prague, is an ideal location for permanent residence, a summer family retreat, or a company headquarters. With a diverse community and cultural life, excellent train connections to Prague, easy access to the D4 motorway, and proximity to the airport, it stands out as a unique and sought-after location.
A home in Dobřichovice provides a peaceful retreat along the banks of the Berounka River, with the Brda forests as its backdrop—a place from which you can conveniently reach the best restaurants, trendy cafes, museums, exhibition halls, and theaters in Prague's city center within 25 minutes.
