This solid estate house was built in 1919 in the popular Elmschenhagen-Kroog district. A modern extension was added in 2018 and it has been extensively renovated and modernized in recent years. Not only were the windows, heating and electrics replaced. The roof was also re-roofed and insulated, and the house was fitted with blown-in insulation. The kitchen and bathrooms have also been given a modern touch. In combination with historical details, such as the old wooden staircase or the robust floorboards, the house radiates warmth and comfort and offers singles, couples or small families an ideal home on approx. 170 m² of living and usable space. The large living/dining room with a unique view of the garden forms the central focal point on the first floor. It is located in the new extension from 2018 and can be reached directly from the kitchen via six steps. Natural exposed beams, a wood-burning stove and numerous windows emphasize the special atmosphere of this area. Whether romantic evenings for two or social gatherings with friends or family - this is a wonderful place to relax. The deliberately minimalist kitchen extends over two rooms and invites you to enjoy convivial cooking evenings. A modern shower room and a bedroom round off the space on the first floor. On the top floor of the house there is a small study and a large children's room. The fully insulated attic, which can be reached via a wooden ladder from the hallway, is also worthy of note. A cozy guest studio has been set up here. However, you can also use it as a playroom for the little ones, for your hobby or as storage space for suitcases or Christmas decorations. In the basement there is a workshop, a heating and utility room as well as a timelessly designed shower room with separate WC. From here, there is also direct access to the annexe, which is extremely practical, especially when the weather is slippery in northern Germany. Originally, this part of the extension was only designed as a garage. However, this area actually offers significantly more possibilities: You can use it as a private recording studio, a fitness room or a teenager's room, for example. And don't worry: your car, motorcycle, bicycles and even your classic car can still be kept safe and dry thanks to a fully enclosed double carport and an open carport. The lovingly landscaped garden impresses with a successful mix of green lawns, romantic seas of flowers and cozy retreats. There is also a greenhouse. A garden shed with terrace and small pond also invites you to barbecue and sunbathe. Tradition meets modernity - your home for new living spaces in a mature residential area.
