Located just 10 minutes north of Kamo and close to Whangarei city. This large scale dairy unit with outstanding infrastructure is a must-view. Estimated at 357 effective hectares with 292 hectares of flat land. Currently milking 850 cows for 319,000 kgm/s last year which was a flood-affected season. The farm has produced up to 427,000 kgm/s with a long term average of around 365,000 kgm/s. The farm is operated on a split calving regime calving down 550 autumn calving cows from 10th March onwards and 300 spring calving cows from 1st August onwards. There is an excellent 50 bale rotary shed with pro-track and cup removers, large under cover feed pad and outdoor calving pad. The farm also operates an 22-aside herringbone cowshed until December for ease of management. The farm also boasts a very large new calf rearing shed and a large array of implement sheds, feed buckets, etc. There are also five houses on the property. Three four bedroom brick homes and two three bedroom homes, plus two sleepouts all set in an elevated position overlooking the farm. The vendors would consider a full going concern and the farm is genuinely for sale and priced to sell.
