Liberty Township is situated in southeastern Butler County, Ohio, approximately 25 miles south of Dayton and 20 miles north of Cincinnati. Originally established in 1806, Liberty Township was one of the original 13 townships in the county, and despite being the smallest with an area of only 28 square miles, it has experienced tremendous growth in recent years. Currently Liberty Township has a population of over 30,000 people, and boasts a diverse and friendly community, high ranking schools, and exciting attractions all within close proximity to two of Ohio’s major cities.
Despite being so close to both Dayton and Cincinnati, residents of Liberty Township have arts & entertainment, shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation that is all their own. Butler County offers several local symphonies and orchestras, unique art and sculpture at the BeauVerre/Riordan Studio and the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum, as well as quality theater performances at the Fairfield Community Arts Center.
