Southfield, MI - The Center of It All

When the weather is too good to stay indoors, Southfield residents have over 700 acres of parks and recreation areas to use, including 330 acres of dedicated nature preserves, perfect for enjoying Michigan’s full four seasons. The city offers baseball fields (including the Miracle League Field of Dreams for children with physical or mental disabilities), tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as trails for walking and jogging. The Southfield Sports Arena also features an ice rink and an outdoor pool. For golf lovers, there are two golf courses located within Southfield—the Beech Woods Golf Course and the Evergreen Hills Golf Course, both of which offer classes for youth and adults.
