This Old House magazine named the 650 homes in the Mapleton Hill neighborhood as one of the 50 best places to purchase a historic home in the U.S. The publication looked at the craftsmanship, architectural diversity of homes, preservation momentum and amenities. The magazine chose a neighborhood in each of the 50 states, with Mapleton Hill being the top Colorado choice. The magazine also recognized the environmentally friendly aspects of the neighborhood, including the incorporation of eco-driven remodeling practices.

Cottage Magazine ranked the Holiday neighborhood as the 7th best neighborhood in the country in its annual “Top 10 Neighborhoods” edition. Their ranking took into account the homes, their cottage appeal, the people, and innovation in building. Boulder’s Holiday neighborhood was also chosen for its #1 appeal: affordability.
