The word Neenah means ‘water’ which is fitting for a city situated along the shores of Lake Winnebago and the Fox River. All throughout Neenah you’ll find tree lined streets, family oriented neighbor hoods, affordable housing, great schools, and an excellent healthcare system.Along Wisconsin Avenue you’ll find historic homes which lead to a thriving downtown filled with shops, an array of ethnic restaurants, and river walk featuring a mile and a half path along the Fox River. While walking along the path make sure to stop and admire the Oak Street bridge in the evening, one of the three totally lit LED light bridges in the United States.
