The Padre Island National Seashore, Mustang Island and area beaches attract beachcombers, surfers, and tourists. There is an annual Sea Sculpture Event that brings thousands of people to see the most beautiful creations all made of sand!! If you are fond of the Arts, well we have a ballet company, an Opera company, a wonderful symphony, a Jazz music society and The Harbor Playhouse.
