South China is a village in the town of China, located in Kennebec County, Maine. Some of South China’s most notable features are Erskine Academy, a private school with over 700 students, and Friends Camp, a Quaker-themed summer camp for kids. While in China, you can enjoy all the activities that come with having a large lake, called China Lake. You can rent paddleboats on the lake, go swimming and even take your own boat out on the lake. Because of China’s central location, there are many exciting things to around China as well. China is less than an hour away from Portland, Maine’s largest city.
