Nestled just to the south of Tampa Bay, Bradenton is a quickly growing area with a rich history. Taking advantage of the wonderful location, many commuters easily access the Tampa-Metro area for employment with national and international corporations. Originally discovered by Spanish explorer Hernando DeSoto in the 1500s, the town merged with the neighboring town of Manatee and incorporated into the current city of Bradenton in the early 1940s.The beautiful downtown area is set along the Manatee River and has a newly re-invigorated spirit, with new businesses and developments creating an active and energetic location for varied dining and shopping.
