Cities and communities in and around the Conejo Valley include Agoura Hills, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Camarillo, Somis, Westlake Village and Lake Sherwood.

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is recognized as one of the premier school districts in America.
