Membership Information

In keeping with its name, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World^® recruits only the best of the best among locally and regionally-branded firms – because each firm’s reputation and performance reflect upon other affiliates nationally and globally. Membership is a privilege which can be terminated by either party at any time, unlike other organizations with 10- to 30-year contracts. Members of LeadingRE must maintain high performance standards in order to retain membership, and the network must perform to continue earning the loyalty of its members.

Real estate is local, which explains why independent, locally branded real estate firms continue to dominate many markets. LeadingRE firms are highly regarded community leaders, and they include many of the most-established companies in the country, including the United States’ oldest residential firm, Baird & Warner in Chicago. A high percentage of our member companies have been in business for over 25 years, but our membership also has the best and brightest new-age companies that are climbing to Number One or Two market positions in just a few years based on innovation, consumer focus, and a passion for re-inventing real estate.
