Pepple to be Honored with ERC's Distinguished Service Award

CHICAGO (01/29/08) – Leading Real Estate Companies of the World^® recently announced that Ruth Ann Pepple, president, Network Services, will be honored with the 2008 Distinguished Service Award on May 8 at the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council's National Conference in San Antonio, Texas. 

Pepple has been a senior manager with a series of relocation networks since 1971 and is considered a leader in establishing business models for referral networks.  In her current role, she oversees Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s Network Services division, which includes LeadingRE’s industry leading broker-to-broker referral program and its growing international membership, encompassing 35 countries worldwide.

Pepple is an active member of Worldwide ERC^® and has made notable contributions to the organization, including serving on their Communications and Membership Services Committee, the 2007 National Relocation Conference Program Planning Committee, the Editorial Advisory Committee and the International Real Estate Task Force.  She has also written articles for Worldwide ERC^® publications and spoken at numerous industry events.

As a recipient of this award, Ruth Ann has also achieved Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) status, a prestigious designation held by only 199 Worldwide ERC^® members. In addition, she also holds the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification.

The Distinguished Service Award is the second level of three awards that can be earned through Worldwide ERC's Service Recognition Award Program, which recognizes individuals who have devoted time and expertise to the advancement of the relocation industry.
