LeadingRE Affiliates Recognized in “The Real Estate Top 200"

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World^® Affiliates Top the Wall Street Journal and REALTrends’ Leading Agent List

-45 LeadingRE Affiliates Recognized in “The Real Estate Top 200”-

Chicago – Leading Real Estate Companies of the World^® (LeadingRE) had more real estate agents than any other firm on “The Real Estate Top 200,” a new national awards event sponsored by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends. Out of the top 200 real estate agents named, 45 were from the LeadingRE network.

“LeadingRE members comprised nearly 25 percent of the total list, demonstrating the power and influence of LeadingRE's independent real estate firms around the country,” said Anne Randolph, publisher of lore magazine, which helped to compile data for the award.

“The Real Estate Top 200” honored the top 50 residential agents and teams in four categories: individual agent by sales volume, individual agent by transaction sides, agent team by sales volume and agent team by transaction sides. The LeadingRE network comprised more than 30 percent of the top 50 agents and teams by sales volume combined.

Its closest competitor, Coldwell Banker, trailed LeadingRE in both sales volume components, with 15 agents in the top 50 by sales volume and nine teams in the top 50 by sales volume.

“The Real Estate Top 200” was compiled and analyzed by REAL Trends. The winners were chosen from nearly 2,000 submissions from real estate professionals representing hundreds of markets nationwide. The rankings were announced at last month's National Association of Realtors' (NAR) Annual Conference and Expo.
